Arrive Yangon, the largest city in Myanmar which is also famous for British Colonial Buildings. Our experienced guide will meet and welcome you at the Airport. Transfer at hotel and overnight peacefully.

Breakfast at hotel. Visit ChaukHtatKyi Reclining Buddha Image. Enjoy shopping at Bogyoke Market. We will bring you Downtown areas; City Hall, Independent Monument at the MaharBandula Park near Sule Pagoda, the Court Office and the Customs House, located along the Strand Road where most colonial buildings stand today as colonial heritage sites. After walking along the Strand Road, you will arrive Strand Hotel which is the first hotel in Myanmar to receive a commemorative blue plaque from the Yangon Heritage Trust in acknowledgement of its significance in the historical and cultural heritage of Yangon and enjoy high tea at there. The Strand Café High tea, offering guests a selection of classic sweets and souvenirs, as well as some traditional Myanmar delicacies, is available daily from 14h30-17h00. Finally visit World famous Shwedagon Pagoda (2600 years old). Then, transfer back to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport & flight to Mandalay. Arrive Mandalay and we will visit Kuthodaw Pagoda (the world biggest book), ShweKyaung (Golden Monastery). Then visit tapestry making factories where you can buy local products for home decorations and Thein Nyo traditional weaving factory where you can find & witness the entire process of making as well as working life of the local people & so on. Then, sunset at Mandalay Hill. Overnight at hotel.

Board the luxurious cruise to begin your day in Mandalay with a welcome breakfast in front of the famous U-Bein Bridge 09:00 Visit to U-Bein Bridge, a crossing that spans the Taungthaman Lake near Amarapura. The bridge is believed to be the oldest and longest teakwood bridge in the world.We continue to the Mahamuni Pagoda. 12:00 The crew will be waiting to greet you on board. 12:15 The safety and security of our passenger is our top priority, safety briefing will conduct on Sundeck prior to departure. 12:30-14:30 Myanmar lunch at the Strand Restaurant. 14:30 Stop in Mingun, one of the country’s former capitals, at the foot of the unfinished pagoda, one of the largest pagodas ever constructed in the history of Myanmar. We will also visit Hsinbyume Pagoda, an impressive pagoda that rises in seven curved whitewashed terraces representing the seven mountain ranges around Mt Meru, the mountain at the center of the Buddhist universe. 18:00 Sunset Cocktail, admire the magnificent sights over the Ayeyarwady river from the ship’s sundeck, sipping one of the Strand Cruise’s signature cocktails. 19:00 to 21:30 Grill dinner .

Breakfast at the Strand Restaurant 08:00 to 10:00 Ava, the ancient imperial capital of successive Burmese kingdoms from the 14th to 19th centuries. A once prominent city, throughout history Ava has been ravaged by war and natural disasters and rebuilt numerous times. Today, all that is left are the ruins and remains of an abandoned kingdom forever imprinted in history. Back in time through banana plantations visit Yadana Shemee, Bagaya and the brick monastery Manu Paya. 11:15 Cooking demonstration at the Sarkies Bar 11:30 Myanmar traditional “Thanaka and Longyi demonstration” by RV.Strand crew on the Sundeck. (Thanaka has been used by Myanmar people for over 2000 years. It has fragrant scent somewhat similar to Sandalwood. Thanaka also gives a cooling sensation and provides protection from the sunburn). 12:30 to 14:00 Thai Lunch on the sundeck 16:00 Traditional Strand afternoon tea at the Sarkies Bar / Sundeck. Enjoy the beautiful landscape passing by as the ship cruises to the ancient city of Bagan. Throughout the afternoon, relax, meditate, or just lie by the pool, enjoy our SPA treatments. 18:00 Sunset cocktail. After as night falls, our ship will moor on a remote and wild section of the river 19:00 Crew Presentation 19:30 to 21:30 Mediterranean dinner at The Strand Restaurant.

Breakfast at hotel. We will start visiting top temples; Shwezigon Pagoda, Gubyaukgyi Temple (Wetkyiinn) and Ananda temple which is almost a thousand years old and done in an entirely different style. Lunch at Sanon Restaurant, a social enterprise helping disadvantaged youths enter the hospitality industry. Here, you can learn about Sanon’s story and enjoy a superbly cooked meal in their nice garden. Afternoon observation to Lacquerware workshop. And, visit MyinKa Bar Bagan Cultural Village. Overnight at hotel.

Optional activities : Balloon Over Bagan, it is the combination of flying and seeing the temples early morning is amazing and unforgotten experience.

Breakfast at hotel. Free time at your hotel. In the late afternoon, escape from modern living and experience Bagan by horse cart (45 minutes). You will travel back in time as you experience a traditional mode of transportation on this private horse cart journey. Back to hotel and overnight at hotel.

Breakfast at hotel and fly to Heho airport. Arrive Heho & drive to Inle. Visit Inle Lake where you can study Inthar tribes’ and their ways of life. Boat trip to Inle Lake sightseeing including: PhaungDawOo Pagoda (Holly 5 Buddha Images) Floating Gardens & Plantation, Cheroot Making, Silversmith, Cotton & Silk Hand Weaving, Paduang family house (Long Neck tribes), NgaPheChaung Monastery. Overnight at hotel.
