Our guide and boat will wait for you at the Nyaung Shwe jetty which is the meeting point for this trip. We will explore the southern part of the Lake by boat sailing through small twisting and turning creeks to reach INDEIN village which is famous for its ruined clusters of pagodas dated back to 16th century. The tranquil peaceful ambience and the ruins overgrown with bushes will bring you centuries back. Proceed your tour to PhaungDawOo Pagoda: A notable Buddhist Pagoda on the lake as it houses five small gilded images of Buddha, which have been covered in gold leaf to the point that their original forms cannot be seen & Padaung Family House (Long Neck Tribe). You will also have the opportunity to visit local workshops such as silversmiths, silk weavers, and cigar makers and see how product takes place on the lake. NgaHpeKyaung monastery : Situated on the West side of the lake and it is famous for its collection of ancient buddha images. Most impressively you will witness the local way of life of the Inthar people, who live here. You can watch local fisherman, rowing one legged and pass by villages made entirely on the lake. When the tour ends, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
