Overview

Take an eye-opening trip to Myanmar’s highlights. Wonder through time, feeling the old & new atmosphere of Yangon. The thousands of temples on the plains of ancient Bagan; and explore to the mount popa which is known as “Home of the Spirits”.

Your private tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Bagan by air-conditioned vehicle. We will visit Shwezigon Pagoda, which is located in Nyaung U Township. Shwezigon Pagoda was built early in the 11th century using sandstone. Next, you visit the Ananda Temple with its four magnificent glided Buddha statues. Then, drive to Mount Popa and the nearby volcanic plug of TaungKalat. Mount Popa is an old volcano reaching a mile into the sky from the flat plains of central Burma which is known as “Home of the Spirits” and observe the life of rural area on the way such as producing the palm sweets. We may stop several places for making the photos and knowing the countryside. In the afternoon, drive back to Bagan. We start visit with top temples; Shwezigon Pagoda, Gubyaukgyi Temple (Wetkyiinn) and Bagan is very famous for traditional lacquerware production. So, we will visit to these shops & can buy their products for the souvenirs. In addition to the vast landscape of temples and ancient relics you will also visit a local village of Myinkaba. Here you can observe local artisans in their workshops creating impressive lacquerware. Horse card ride around the temples, Sunset at one of the hills or monuments where is the perfect location to watch the sun set over Old Bagan and the Irrawaddy River to the west. When the tour ends, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
