Itinerary

Let’s start with Yangon, a city crowned by the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda. It is pretty warm in Yangon, feel the welcome hot moist breeze. Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Our experienced guide will meet and welcome you at the Airport. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Start time: 8:00 AM – End time: 6:00 PM
Your first stop is one of the city’s morning markets. Amble through the colorful stalls where all sorts of fresh items – from tropical fruits, vegetables, meats and even live fish are on offer. Interspersed amongst the fresh items are small shops selling breakfast snacks and noodles. Your will have local breakfast rice noodle fish soup called Mot Hin Khar and local tea. Then, transfer to railway station & hop aboard the circular train in Yangon for an authentic experience of the city and its suburbs, immerse in the local life, the loop connects several satellite towns and suburban neighborhoods. Then, disembark to downtown area; City Hall, Independent Monument at the MaharBandula Park near Sule Pagoda, the Court Office and the Customs House, located along the Strand Road where most colonial buildings stand today as colonial heritage sites. And, enjoy visiting Bogyoke Market for your souvenir shopping.Then, visit World Famous Dazzling Shwedagon(2600 Years old). Overnight at hotel.

Morning Flight to Bagan. Today we will visit colorful local Market, then feel the ancient time 11 century visit the famous ancient Temples with amazing architecture of Bagan Era , and also visit the Bagan Lacquerware work shop to learn 18 to 21 steps of tradition method then Observe local process of making Pea Paste(Poneyeygyi) and homemade Plum Jam. Horse cart ride around the temples, amazing sunset at one of the famous monuments where is perfect to watch sunset over of 3000 temples of wonderful Bagan. Overnight at hotel.

Start time: 8:30 AM – End time: 6:00 PM/Driving Hours to Popa : 1 hours 15 Minutes
After breakfast drive to Mt. Popa (Extinct Volcano) as well as Oasis of the dry zone. On the way to Mt. Popa, stop at palm sugar hut (maple syrup-like liquid collected by climbing and cooked in big woks to make palm sugar). They also grind the sesame and peanut to obtain oil from crop they grow on farms which are demarcated by palm trees in neat rows. Will visit local villages near Popa area from a different perspective as you explore the area for local lifestyle and children school as well. Back to Bagan direct transfer to Jetty a private boat tour on the river during sunset time will hopefully show you a spectacular sunset. Relax and enjoy the scenery.Overnight at hotel.

Flight to Mandalay. Morning excursion to Mingun by Boat, visit Pa HtoDawGyi (Unfinished Magnificent Temple); Mingun Bell (World Biggest Ringing Bell about 90 ton); World Biggest Lions Ancient Ruined); Mya Thein Tan Pagoda and then, back to Mandalay. Visit Mahamuni Buddha Image (Exalted Saint Buddha Image heavily gilded with gold leaf brought over from Arakan State in 1784). Visit Gold leaf making workshop, World UNESCO site Kuthodaw (the world biggest book), ShweKyaung (Golden Monastery), and sunset at Mandalay Hill. Overnight at hotel.

Start time: 8:30 AM – End time: 6:00 PM/Driving Hours to Amarapura: 30 Minutes
Breakfast at hotel. Then, drive to Amarapura (Ancient town of Mandalay),visit Mahaghandayon monastery which is the biggest Monastery in Myanmar over 1000 monks. Proceed to Sagaing Hill the Buddhist spiritual center of this part of Myanmar. It has hundreds of temples, beautiful vistas, monasteries, colleges and schools. Then, visit Inwa a former royal capital of Myanmar Kingdom located on the confluence of the Irrawaddy River and Myitnge River. After a 3 minute boat ride by crossing a small river you will ride a horse cart for the visit. Then U Bein Bridge which has1.2-kilometre length built around 1850 and is believed to be the oldest and (once) longest teakwood bridge in the world for a beautiful sunset. At around 6pm, you will be taken back to your hotel in Mandalay. Overnight at hotel.

Driving Hours to Pindaya: 1 hour (estimate)
Today, we will fly to Heho. Then, drive to Pindaya. On the way, you will see fields of potatoes, onions, cabbages, sunflowers, paddy and jute, furthermore the plantation of tangerine orange groves, avocado, prickled tea leaf and different vegetables and fruits grown in this prolific area.
Shortstop at local village and drink coffee with snacks by chitchating with villagers. Proceed to Pindaya cave and also have a taste to Shan’s traditional prickled green tea salad and dried bean paste, Shan Paper and Traditional Umbrella Marking home factory. Continue driving to Nyaung Shwe. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Start time: 9:00 AM – End Time: 7:00 PM

Today, we will explore Inle lake (nestled amidst hazy blue mountains is the beautiful Inle Lake 900 meter above sea level) where you can study Inthar tribes’ and their ways of life. Boat trip to witness the iconic scenery of Inle Lake including: Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda (Holly 5 Buddha Images),then proceed to Inphawkhone to visit Silk Weaving, and you can learn how to make cigar in different flavor together with local girls, say hello to Padaung family house (Long Neck tribes), small cannel to the Floating Gardens, Floating villages & Plantation. After sightseeing, check out from the hotel & transfer to the airport for the flight to Yangon. Arrive Yangon & transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport for your international departure to Luang Prabang. Fly to Luang Prabang, Laos. Your expert guide will meet you at Luang Prabang International Airport while your private transportation brings you directly to your chosen hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Today, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temples of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. We then embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside as well as exploring the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by devoted pilgrims. Along the way, we will stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where the local rice wine is produced. On return, we take a short drive to another small village Ban Phanom, which is famous for its hand weaving. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms (often in the form of sticky rice) from the faithful residents. This tradition is very unique in Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the ritual.
After breakfast, we visit the National Museum (closed Tuesdays) at the former Royal Palace. It displays a collection of artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through to the last sovereign. There will also be time for us to look around the Central Market. We then continue towards Khouangsi Waterfall, en route, we visit the local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay, Ban Ou, Laoloum and Ban Thapene, and then drive to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall. Here you can take a dip in the inviting pools or walk along the forest trails surrounding the waterfall. We return to Luang Prabang by late afternoon and continue to Ban Xangkhong, a village well known for silk hand weaving and for traditional Saa Paper making. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
