Itinerary

Start Time: TBA

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your guide who will accompany you as you transfer to your hotel. Then, we will bring you to downtown area; City Hall, Independent Monument at the MaharBandula Park near Sule Pagoda, the Court Office and the Customs House, located along the Strand Road where most colonial buildings stand today as colonial heritage sites.
Finally, continue to Shwedagon Pagoda, the most revered Buddhist temple in Myanmar. Follow the guide’s lead around this massive complex and learn why this temple is so revered. Overnight in hotel peacefully.

Start Time: 6:00 AM-End Time: 6:00 PM/Duration for train ride: 4 hours

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Yangon Railway Station for the train ride to Kyaik Hto. After 4 hours ride (152 km), arrive Kyaikhto which is a town in Mon State and popular for its wish fulfill Golden Rock Pagoda. From Kyaikhto, proceed to Mawlamaing by car (136km) by the towns, Tha Ton & Mottama. Arrive Mawlamyaing which is also the third largest city in the country. Sightseeing around Mawlamyaing includes Queen Sein Don Monastery & Kyaik Than Lan Pagoda from where you can enjoy the amazing Sunset & evening atmosphere. Overnight at hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. Today, you will be prepared to visit the sightseeing by bike. We will explore to Mudon Reclining Buddha, the world’s largest reclining Buddha, 30 meters high and 180 meters in length can be seen for miles. When visiting the giant Buddha it should be remembered that despite the odd novelty of walking into a giant head, it is still a place of worship, and shoes should be removed before entering the shrine. Kyaikmaraw Pagoda which is the later period Mon style structure built by Queen Shin Saw Pu in 1455 & ways of life of Mon people who are very helpful & hospitable. Overnight at hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to jetty & proceed by boat about 1 hour & 30 minutes(estimate) to Kato Kawhnat village where is situated Kawhnat pagoda, the shrines within the compound are a perfect example of the style built within this era, with coloured glass and red woodwork perfectly decorated with gold painted patterns. Arrive Kawhnat jetty & proceed by Toke Toke about 10 minutes to U Nar Auk Monastery (over 100 years old) also known as the U Nar Auk Shrines, is a historic Buddhist monastery located in the village of Kawhnat, Karen State, Myanmar. If time is enough, visit to Kawgun Cave. Then, proceed by bike to Hpa- an. Overnight at hotel in Hpa-an.

After breakfast at hotel & start your biking tour. Firstly, wander down to Hpa An Market and things get seriously bustling. Then, proceed to Kaw Kathaung Cave found in a limestone outcrop slightly to the north of Zwekabin & Lat Kha Na Kayin village and beautiful bridge. Then, visit to Talaku Villages where you can discover Karen Traditions, boat ride at Saddan Cave which opens into a gigantic cavern filled with Buddhas and pagodas , Lumini Garden is home to several hundred neatly aligned, seated Buddha images & Kyauk Ka Latt. Overnight at hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. We will start visit to Kawgun cave was commissioned by a Mon Queen in the 7th century, so it is a sacred site for the ethnic Mon to come here and worship, Bayintnyi Cave, a beautiful natural cave on the mountain with views of paddy fields., & Shwe Sar Yan Pagoda was built by King Thuriya Sanda and believed to have enshrined eight hair relics of Kakusana Buddha. Overnight at hotel in Thaton.

Breakfast at hotel. From Thaton, proceed to Belin by car (43 km). From Belin, bike riding (56km) to Kimpun Base Camp. On the ways, visit Kyaik Hti Saung Pagoda was said to have been built by ogre brothers Mani Kondala and Dewa Kondala. Arrive Kimpun Base Camp and the truck will take you to the top of the hill (Golden Rock Pagoda). Sunset at Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock Pagoda), enjoy the panoramic view from top of the mountain. Overnight at hotel.

Breakfast at hotel & sunrise at Golden Rock. Then, start your biking tour. On the way, you will pass the beautiful sceneries along the Kin Mon Chaung village, Saung Naing Gyi Village. Then, stop at Sein Lei Tin Restaurant (own expense). Then, we will pass along the cities Moke Palim & Theinzayat. Finally, drive to Yangon by car. Arrive Yangon. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel peacefully.
